The Bag That Started It All

OTB didn't begin with a business plan or a full collection.

It began with an idea.

I'd been looking for a timeless leather messenger bag and hadn't found one that felt right. My sister suggested something I'd never really considered before: "Why don't you make one yourself?"

The more I thought about it, the more it made sense. I wanted something I could genuinely use every day: practical, timeless, and built to last. A bag that felt just as at home in the office as it did on a weekend away.

So that's what was built.

No oversized logos. No unnecessary detail. Just clean lines, considered proportions, and genuine full-grain leather, chosen to age well rather than look new forever. Every stitch and fitting was chosen with one question in mind: will this still feel right in ten years?

That question still shapes everything we make.

The Messenger Bag isn't just our first product. It's the standard the rest of OTB is held to. Quality materials. Purposeful design. Nothing added that doesn't need to be there.
